Google Ads Transparency Scraper & New Ads Monitor

Google's Ads Transparency Center shows every ad an advertiser runs, but only one page at a time in a browser. This Google Ads Transparency Center scraper exports those ads as data, and a daily mode tells you only what is new.

What it does

Give the tool a competitor's domain or advertiser name and a region, and it returns the ads Google has on record for them across Search, YouTube, Display and Shopping. Each ad comes with:

  • The advertiser name and ID, the creative ID and the format: text, image or video.
  • When the ad was first and last shown, and how many days it has been running.
  • The image, or a rendered preview for text ads Google archives as pictures, plus a direct link to the ad in the Transparency Center.
  • For video ads, the YouTube video ID and link.
  • Headlines and descriptions, when Google exposes them as text.

With details switched on, you also get per-country first and last shown dates, impression ranges, the number of variations and the advertiser's verified legal name.

The only new ads mode is what turns the scraper into a monitor. The tool remembers every ad it has already returned, so when you schedule it daily, each run gives you just the ads that appeared since the last one. Every competitor also gets a summary row: estimated total ads, ads fetched, new ads since the last run, the mix of formats, and whether they were active in the last 24 hours.

You can narrow results by region (one country or anywhere), format, date range and a maximum number of ads per competitor.

Who uses it

  • PPC and paid social teams who want to know which offers and messages competitors are testing, and for how long they keep them.
  • Agencies that report on dozens of client competitors across several countries.
  • Founders and marketers checking who already advertises in a country before they launch there.
  • Brand protection teams looking for advertisers bidding on their brand or imitating their domain.
  • Creative strategists building swipe files of competitor video and image ads.

How it works

  1. List your competitors by domain or advertiser name, choose the region and, if you like, the format and date range.
  2. Run it once for a full export, or schedule it every morning with “only new ads” turned on.
  3. Send the results to email, Slack, Google Sheets or a webhook, or download them as JSON, CSV or Excel.

Pricing

Pay per use on Apify. No subscription from us.

  • $0.001 per run
  • $0.005 per competitor (one domain or advertiser in one region, summary row included)
  • $1.00 per 1,000 ads

With “only new ads” turned on, you pay only for the new ads. Monitoring 20 competitors every day, with around five new ads each, works out to roughly $0.20 a day. You can cap the number of ads per competitor or the cost per run; ads that were not delivered because of a cap are not marked as seen, so they arrive on the next run.

Limits

  • No spend or impression data for commercial ads. Google does not publish ad spend or clicks; with details on, you get the impression ranges Google does publish.
  • Ad copy is not always text. Google stores many Search ads as rendered images, so for those you get the image rather than the words.
  • The tool only sees what the Transparency Center shows, so ads Google has not yet published there will not appear.

FAQ

What is the Google Ads Transparency Center?

It is Google's public library of ads shown on Search, YouTube, Display and Shopping, listed under each advertiser's verified identity.

How do I find an advertiser ID?

You usually don't need one: enter the domain or the advertiser's name. If you want to be exact, open the advertiser on adstransparency.google.com and copy the part of the URL that starts with AR.

Does it show ad spend or clicks?

No. Google does not publish spend or clicks for commercial ads. With details switched on you get per-country impression ranges and first and last shown dates.

Why are some text ads returned as images?

Google archives many Search ads as rendered images. For those the tool returns the image link, and extracts the text whenever Google provides it as text.

Can I get daily alerts?

Yes. Schedule the tool with “only new ads” turned on and connect the results to email, Slack, Google Sheets, Zapier, Make or n8n. Each run then delivers only new ads.
