Google Hotels Scraper & Rate Monitor

Google Hotels already compares what every booking site charges for a room. This Google Hotels scraper reads those prices for the hotels and dates you choose, and works as a hotel rate monitor that warns you when they move.

What it does

Give it hotels by name or Google Hotels URL, or a destination, plus the dates you care about. For each hotel and stay, it reads the hotel's prices on Google Hotels and returns:

  • Prices by booking site: Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, the hotel's own website and the other sites Google lists, each with the price per night, the total for the stay and the booking link.
  • The lowest price and which site offers it, the hotel's own direct price, and the gap between the direct price and the cheapest online travel agency.
  • The hotel's star class, rating and number of reviews.

Dates can be fixed stays or rolling, such as “every night for the next 14 nights”. The tool builds Google's own travel parameters for your dates, guests and currency, then checks that the page Google returns matches them before saving anything.

As a hotel rate monitor, it remembers the last prices for each hotel and stay. On the next run it reports what changed: a booking site's price going up or down, a new lowest price or a different cheapest site, and stays that sold out or became available again. With rolling dates, each night is compared with the price seen for that same night on earlier runs.

Who uses it

  • Hotel revenue managers watching their competitive set's rates for the coming weeks.
  • Hotels checking rate parity: whether online travel agencies undercut their direct price.
  • Travel agencies and tour operators tracking prices for the dates their customers book.
  • Analysts studying how hotel prices react to events, seasons and demand in a city.

How it works

  1. Add hotels by name or URL, or a destination, and choose the dates, the number of adults, the currency and the country.
  2. Run it once for a snapshot of today's prices, or schedule it daily to start tracking changes.
  3. Get price changes and sold-out alerts by email, in Slack or Google Sheets, or download every price as JSON, CSV or Excel.

Pricing

Pay per use on Apify. No subscription from us.

  • $0.005 per run
  • $3.00 per 1,000 hotel-date checks (one hotel and one stay, prices read and compared)
  • $0.50 per 1,000 price changes

Summary and error rows cost nothing, and pages that fail or don't match your dates are never charged. A competitive set of 10 hotels, checked daily for the next 14 nights, is 140 checks plus around 30 changes a day: $0.005 + $0.42 + $0.015, about $0.44 a day. Five hotels on four key weekends is 20 checks, about $0.07 a day.

Limits

  • Destination searches read Google's first page of results, about 20 hotels. To track more, add hotels by name or URL.
  • Whether prices include taxes and fees depends on the country you choose. US results usually exclude them, while UK and EU results usually include them.
  • Children are not supported yet. Stays are for 1 to 8 adults, up to 30 nights, and up to about 330 days ahead.
  • Name matching takes the first hotel Google lists. Check the matched hotel name on the first run, or paste the hotel's URL to be exact.

FAQ

Which booking sites are included?

Every site Google Hotels lists for that hotel and stay, typically including Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, Trip.com and the hotel's own website. The exact list varies by hotel and market.

Can I track one hotel over many dates?

Yes. Use rolling dates for up to 60 check-in dates per run, or list specific stays.

Are prices per night or for the whole stay?

Both. Each booking site row has the price per night and the total for the stay.

Do I need a proxy?

No. The default Apify proxy is enough, and a residential fallback is available if you ever need it.

Is a sold-out stay charged?

Yes, as a check, because “no prices for these dates” is real information and the row says so. Failed or mismatched pages are never charged.
